Several outlets, including People and US Weekly, have confirmed that Swanepoel and Brady are a couple. A source told People that the pair have been rumored to be "dating for a while now" and that they're "spending a lot of time together."

"They both live in Miami, so its very convenient," the source added.

Another source told the outlet, "Candice and Tom have been dating for months. Shes been very secretive and selective about who shes told about their dating. When they have met up, theyve gone [to great] lengths not to be spotted."

Swanepoel was born in South Africa in 1988. She grew up on a dairy and beef farm in Mooi River – a small town in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Speaking about her upbringing, Swanepoel told V Magazine in 2023 one of her most "vivid" memories from childhood.

"One of my most vivid memories as a child was seeing my father wake up at 4 am to take care of our farm. His dedication and drive is something that is now part of me," she said at the time.

On her personal website, Swanepoel recalled the moment a talent scout saw her at a flea market when she was just 15.

"At the time, I was at St. Annes College, an all-girls boarding school where I embraced new friends and the potential of a great education," she wrote.

The following year, Swanepoel's life completely changed.

"Within a year of meeting the scout, at age 16, I was booking more and more modeling jobs all across Europe," she wrote. "While this was an incredible blessing for someone from such a sheltered upbringing, it also forced me to make tough decisions about my life at a young age."

At 18, she spent a few years modeling in Paris, Milan, London and South Africa and decided to move to New York City to model full-time.

"Separated from everything familiar, I relied on my drive and ambition as I lived on my own overseas. I gave up a normal teenage life with my family and friends to pursue a dream, but what I have gotten in return is simply incredible," Swanepoel wrote.
